DiabloFans, often known for datamining Diablo III patch information long before the patches go live on PTR, has revealed a ton of details for the upcoming Reaper of Souls expansion. Naturally, the datamined information is extremely preliminary and shouldn’t be taken as final in any way, shape, or form. But what it does give is a preview at what Blizzard is working on and what could hopefully make its way to the live version of Reaper of Souls.

Some reveals of interest from the datamined information include a confirmation that a Seasonal Ladder is in the works along with implementation of Guild/Clans. A huge compiled list of Crusader abilities and descriptions are available at the source link, we won’t report on that since those will likely change significantly before Reaper of Souls goes live.

More information on the Nephalem Trials were also revealed from the datamined info, including several trial types: Wave Trial, Horde Trial, Collapsing Dungeon, Berserker Trial, and Goblin Hunt. The Wave Trial is being described as an event similar to the “Jar of Souls” event currently in Diablo III, where players will have to defeat waves of enemies as quicky as possible. The Horde Trial is Blizzard’s take at an endless dungeon, where players will be able to fight an unending amount of monsters. Collapsing Dungeons will have players looting Nephalem relics to delay the dungeon’s collapse while the Berserker Trial will demand players to kill specific mobs before they enrage. Lastly, the Goblin Hunt sounds like a ton of fun: Find the treasure goblins before they all escape.

The datamined information also has a very lengthy list of Legendary affixes for the upcoming Loot 2.0 changes. Again, these are likely to change before going live and some of them are clearly in the game for testing purposes only. So if you’re interested, head to DiabloFans for more information there.

Lastly, it appears that Paragon Levels will allow players to customize essentially every stat available on their characters through Paragon Points. That includes attack speed, crit chance, crit damage, all resists, max resource, resource generation, movement speed, pickup radius, life, armor, dodge, etc. Will that be enough to offer some level of customization to your Diablo III character? That remains to be unseen. Hopefully Blizzard addresses the fact that the majority of Diablo III‘s current gameplay just simply revolves around having the most DPS.
