Dumpster Gang’s PC launch is still over a month away, but Curve Games and developer Coyote House Games have already confirmed the co-op raccoon sandbox is coming to PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and Switch 2 in March 2027, with the XBOX version also available through XBOX Game Pass. The PC version arrives first on December 3 via Steam and XBOX on PC, and it will be on PC Game Pass from day one. The console news came by way of today’s Indie World Showcase, where Nintendo featured the game alongside the rest of its indie lineup.

For those who haven’t seen it, Dumpster Gang has up to four players controlling a gang of raccoons that scavenge dumpsters, steal junk, hoard snacks, and generally cause havoc while an Exterminator sets traps and tries to catch them. The raccoons can climb walls and scurry through vents to reach loot, and missions involve carrying heavy items together, solving puzzles, and rescuing teammates who get captured. Between missions, the gang returns to a hideout that can be decorated with everything they’ve stolen, and there are hats to unlock, each with its own ability for the next outing. Curve Games describes the controls as simple to pick up, with sandbox systems that produce chain reactions and unpredictable moments from one session to the next.

A free demo is currently available on Steam and XBOX on PC, covering the tutorial and the first two levels. “Well, the raccoons are out of the bag – we’re coming to consoles next year! We’re grateful to our friends at Nintendo for featuring Dumpster Gang in the Indie World Showcase,” said Rich Keen, vice president of publishing at Curve Games. The game was first announced in August for PC and Game Pass with a December window, and the specific date was set earlier this month.
