Prime Video has shared the official trailer for the upcoming live action Like a Dragon: Yakuza series. The first three episodes will debut in over 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 24 and star Ryoma Takeuchi as Kazuma Kiryu and Kento Kaku as Akira Nishikiyama. Directing the series is the critically acclaimed Masaharu Take, known for 100 Yen Love, Eden, and The Gun. The trailer shows a lot of promise, which would give Prime Video another great video game adaptation following the success of Fallout.

Like a Dragon: Yakuza is an adaptation of Sega’s successful Like a Dragon series, previously known as Yakuza. The show follows Kazuma Kiryu and looks to be based on the original 2005 Yakuza game. Those who have played the games will also recognize Goro Majima in the trailer, who is the main character in the upcoming Like a Dragon game, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
