That move seems to be paying off, as Sea of Thieves was the top downloaded PlayStation 5 game last month in both the US/Canada and EU regions. The wins continue for Microsoft, as Minecraft was the top downloaded PlayStation 4 game in both the US/Canada and EU regions.
As for PlayStation VR2, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition topped the charts, but MADiSON VR, which was released in May, came in second. For those curious about the original PlayStation VR, Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul was most popular in the US/Canada, while Coaster topped the EU chart. Finally, when it comes to Free-to-Play games across both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, MultiVersus—which relaunched on May 28—topped the US/Canada chart, while Stumble Guys was most popular in the EU.
