PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for June 2025

Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for June 2025 as part of its Days of Play announcement. The lineup starts with Destiny 2: The Final Shape (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5) on May 28, while NBA 2K25 (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5), Alone in the Dark 2024 (PlayStation 5), and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5) arrive on June 3.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is the long-running game’s most recent expansion, originally released on June 4, 2024. This will give players the opportunity to catch up ahead of the game’s next expansion, Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, launching on July 15. The Edge of Fate kicks off The Year of Prophecy and will also include Destiny 2: Renegades, which is currently slated to launch on December 2, 2025.

The addition of NBA 2K25 couldn’t come at a better time, as the Conference Finals are currently happening, with the Knicks and Pacers battling it out in the East and the Thunder and Timberwolves in the West. The 2025 NBA Finals are scheduled to start on June 5, so June 3 is the perfect time for basketball fans to enjoy NBA 2K25 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

If basketball doesn’t interest you, perhaps Alone in the Dark (2024) will. This reimagining of the 1990s cult classic horror game stars David Harbour and Jodie Comer, taking on the roles of Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood, respectively. It tells the story of Derceto Manor, an asylum with a terrible secret. Carnby is a private investigator while Hartwood is the client trying to solve the mystery of her missing uncle. Unfortunately, Alone in the Dark was the final title developed by Pieces Interactive, whose studio was shut down after the game’s release.

For many, the best title for June’s lineup will be Bomb Rush Cyberfunk from developer Team Reptile. The game features self-styled graffiti crews with personal boostpacks that are battling each other for control of the streets. Players will start their own cypher and dance, paint graffiti, collect beats, combo tricks, and face off with the cops as they try to claim their stake of New Amsterdam.
