PlayStation has announced the first additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for 2024. All the titles will become playable starting January 16 for PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium members. Kicking things off is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Next-Level Edition on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In our opinion, this Borderlands spinoff was more enjoyable than Borderlands 3, offering a better endgame loop. A must play if you’re a fan of looter shooters and Tiny Tina’s humor. Next, we have the Resident Evil 2 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This remake of the 1998 classic brings Leon and Claire to a modern generation with an all-new third-person view.

Offering a completely different experience from the first two games is Hardspace: Shipbreaker on PlayStation 5. In this game, players are tasked with recovering valuable materials in a sci-fi physics sim. Players can choose to salvage through a campaign, relax in freeplay mode, or compete in timed challenges. For some lighter fun, there’s LEGO City Undercover for PlayStation 4. In this LEGO game, players take on the role of Chase McCain, a police officer tasked with going undercover to hunt down the criminal Rex Fury.

Just Cause 3 for PlayStation 4, perfect for fans of open-world destruction mayhem, is also being added to the catalog. Skateboard fans can enjoy Session: Skate Sim on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, featuring ’90s skate culture aesthetic. The underrated Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun for PlayStation 4 will also join the game catalog in January 2024. The hardcore tactical stealth game is set in Japan around the Edo period and players will take control of a team of deadly specialists.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will probably be a highlight for some. This narrative RPG unfolds the stories of three vampires, each with their own unique vampiric abilities and disciplines. Lastly, Surviving the Aftermath for PlayStation 4 challenges players to survive and thrive in a procedurally-generated, post-apocalyptic world.

PlayStation Plus Premium members will also have access to the following Classics:

  • Rally Cross (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5)
  • Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5)
  • Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection (PlayStation 4)
  • Legend of Mana (PlayStation 4)
  • Secret of Mana (PlayStation 4)
