Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play Sunset Overdrive for free this Saturday as part of the Xbox One’s first anniversary celebration. Starting Saturday, November 22 at 12:01 ET, Xbox Live Gold members can check out the Awesomepocalypse from Insomniac Games for a full 24 hours. There isn’t just some lightweight demo either, it’ll be the full game and players will be able to earn achievements and save their progress during that 24-hour span.

Those that choose to purchase the game at a later date will be able to resume where they left off during the free trial. Also available is Sunset Overdrive‘s eight-player online Chaos Squad mode, though that can only be unlocked after playing through the single-player campaign some. After this weekend, the Insomniac Games All-Star team will showcase several new weapons that will be heading to Sunset Overdrive in the near future.
