Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is heading to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on August 19, PopCap has announced. Pre-orders for the game are open starting today, and players will receive two game-boosting digital card packs in addition to PlayStation character-themed customization items for their plants and zombies. Those items include Hat Packs with content stylized after the Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper and Fat Princess games.

PopCap also announced that Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare will be compatible with PlayStation Vita Remote Play and the PlayStation 4 version will include Boss Mode, a feature that was previously exclusive to the Xbox One version of the game.
