Persona 5 will be heading to both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 next year in Japan, Atlus has revealed along with a new trailer for the game. Originally announced last year in November, the upcoming JRPG was expected to arrive on the PlayStation 3 this winter in Japan, but has been postponed as the team has also added PlayStation 4 development to the table. Persona series chief director, Katsura Hashino, posted a message for the fans in regards to the game’s development, apologizing for the delay and announcing that the PlayStation 4 version of Persona 5 will be released simultaneously with the PlayStation 3 version.

Little is known about the game, but the new trailer does reveal its protagonist and Hashino confirmed that the setting will be reversed from Persona 4, with the new game depicting the lives of youths living in a big city.
