The hype surrounding Palworld has settled down since its wild launch earlier this year. Now, developer Pocketpair is focusing on new content and fixes. The recent patch introduced the game’s first raid boss and even addressed some of our complaints. During today’s Triple-i Initiative Showcase, Palworld teased its upcoming Pal Arena, where players can battle against other players and their Pals.
After launching into Early Access in January, Palworld became a massive success overnight. It quickly broke records, eventually attracting over 25 million players on PC and Xbox. Often compared to Pokémon—albeit with the addition of guns—the upcoming arena is likely to reinforce this comparison.
