Palworld’s success continues to soar with over seven million units sold in just five days. Developer Pocketpair has unveiled a preliminary roadmap outlining expected developments in the coming months of Early Access. Following a trajectory similar to Valheim’s surprise success, the development team is now mainly focused on addressing the major issues impacting a game with millions of players. Critical issues in Palworld include world date rollbacks, persistent loading screens when entering worlds, and various other bugs.
In terms of improvements, the team’s main focus is on enhancing base Pal AI and pathing, as well as refining the keybind system. Currently, it’s frustrating that the game does not allow changes to some keybinds on PC. Planned future updates for the game include PvP, raid bosses, a Pal Arena, Steam and Xbox crossplay, various Xbox feature improvements, server transfers and migrations, improvements to the building system, new islands, Pals, bosses, and technologies.
We’ve been enjoying our time in Palworld and are looking forward to the improvements Pocketpair has in store for the game.
