Since its Early Access launch, Palworld has been setting records. Xbox has confirmed that it has attracted over seven million players on Xbox, making it the biggest third-party launch in Game Pass history. These numbers were achieved within the first 10 days of Palworld launching on the Xbox Game Preview program. On Xbox, it reached a peak of nearly three million daily active users and was the most-played game on Xbox’s platforms at the time.

Xbox is collaborating with developer Pocketpair, providing support for the Xbox versions of the game. The team is focused on enabling dedicated servers and has offered engineering resources for GPU and memory optimization to expedite Palworld updates.

Having spent over 80 hours playing Palworld (first impressions), I understand why the game has become such a wild success. Its core gameplay loop is very well done and there’s just so much to enjoy from a game that has a retail price of just $29.99. There are, of course, several things that need improvement to make Palworld a much better game.

Pocketpair has also revealed the total number of players have exceeded 19 million across Steam and Xbox.
