Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, and the biggest addition it shows off is the Hall of Fallen Foes, a museum-like area that’s new to the remake. Defeating a monster unlocks a statue of it in the hall, and examining a statue gives you a description of the monster and where it can be found again. The hall is also where boss rematches happen, as approaching a boss’s statue lets you fight it again, and those rematches are timed. The game launches November 5 exclusively on Switch 2, and preorders are open now.

The trailer opens in Kokiri Forest with a narrator explaining that everyone deep within the forest has a fairy, except for one boy. From there, it runs through the basics of Link’s adventure across the Kingdom of Hyrule, from meeting characters and battling monsters to solving puzzles in dungeons and using items, including the ocarina, to forge a path forward. Nintendo says the remake has been built from the ground up for Switch 2, and the trailer also gives another look at the microphone feature shown at last month’s Direct. You can hum a melody Link has learned or play it on a real instrument, and his ocarina plays along in-game. Dungeons shown in the trailer include the Fire Temple, along with several of the game’s boss fights.

The remake will support Zelda Notes, the game-specific service in the Nintendo Switch App, which Nintendo detailed for Ocarina of Time at the same Direct. Two new amiibo figures are also on the way, and tapping them unlocks special in-game masks, while tapping existing amiibo of characters from The Legend of Zelda games gives in-game items that may help you on your journey. The two new figures are the Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo, which arrive in 2027.
