At this point, it almost feels as if Nintendo is trolling its fans that are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the Switch’s successor. First, the company announced an alarm clock called the Nintendo Alarmo, and now it has launched a smartphone app called Nintendo Music. As the name suggests, Nintendo Music brings Nintendo soundtracks to smart devices, but users need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to access it. Users can stream songs directly from the app or download them for offline listening. Nintendo has also included a filter allowing users to exclude soundtracks that may contain spoilers. More music will be added to the app over time.
Nintendo Music launches with an impressive lineup of soundtracks, including titles like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Pikmin 4, Metroid Prime, Splatoon 3, Nintendogs, Super Mario Odyssey, Kirby’s Dream Land, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Fire Emblem.
