Nintendo kicked off the Switch 2 era with two fantastic first-party titles: Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. Now, for the next phase of its launch, Nintendo is shining the spotlight on third-party titles from publishing partners. Tomorrow, July 31, there’s a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase airing at 6:00 AM Pacific (9:00 AM Eastern) that will feature roughly 25 minutes of Switch and Switch 2 titles.

Rumors for this Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase include Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio announcements for Switch 2 and a Borderlands 4 reveal on Switch 2. We also wouldn’t be surprised if numerous Xbox titles are announced for Switch 2, given Xbox’s push to go multi-platform. Who knows, maybe we’ll even see a “This Is an Xbox” ad for Switch 2 showcasing native Xbox Cloud Streaming.

Again, this is a Partner Showcase, so we don’t expect to hear any news on upcoming Nintendo first-party titles like Metroid Prime 4 or a new Animal Crossing. We’ll likely have to wait until September for any major first-party announcements.
