The Last of Us, exclusive to the Sony PlayStation 3, turned out to be one of the best games of the decade, with intense story telling and gameplay. Starring Joel and Ellie as the main characters, the game took players on a roller coaster of emotions from beginning to end. At the upcoming PAX event, Naughty Dog is going to reveal how The Last of Us‘ story changed over its development, and has released the above image showing off the original ending of the game.
While we won’t ruin the game with spoilers for those that haven’t had an opportunity to play it, the image shows a version of The Last of Us that would have been really different from beginning to end. Those that have played it should be aware that it is Tess in the image, who was originally supposed to be the main antagonist in the game.
As for those that haven’t played it, well the image probably doesn’t mean much to you anyways. But hey, if there’s one game you should have played this year, The Last of Us is it.
