A second batch of FFXV Ultimate Collector’s Editions will be produced, Square Enix has confirmed. The FFXV Ultimate Collector’s Edition was first announced at the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event in late March and was originally limited to just 30,000 units. Not surprisingly, the PlayStation 4 version sold out in a matter of minutes and the Xbox One version wasn’t far behind. Unfortunately, many of them have ended up on eBay and are demanding a premium over the $269.99 retail price.

The FFXV Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes the game, a Blu-Ray disc of Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV, a Blu-Ray disc of Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV, a special soundtrack Blu-Ray disc, a Play Arts Kai Noctis figurine, an exclusive Brotherhood and Kingsglaive steelbook, as well as all DLC bonuses.

The bad news is, Square Enix followed up its tweet in announcing more copies of the FFXV Ultimate Collector’s Editions by saying, “Due to factors outside of our control though – there is a chance these new UCEs may not be ready by Sep 30 (the #FFXV release date).” Naturally, the company will be doing its best to make sure the new UCEs aren’t delayed and will inform customers when they can order one from the second batch soon.
