Today’s Capcom Spotlight presentation gave us fresh new looks at upcoming titles Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem, along with updates for Street Fighter 6 Year 3, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Monster Hunter Wilds (review). Before we get into what was shown on Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Wilds fans can look forward to Lagiacrus and Seregios when they return with Title Update 2 on June 30. Lagiacrus hasn’t appeared since Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, while Seregios’s last appearance was in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

Both monsters will be available to hunt as eight-star Tempered for hunters HR41 and above. Starting July 30, Arch-tempered Uth Duna will join the fray as a limited-time Event Quest and a Free Challenge Request, rewarding new armor sets Uth Duna γ and Felyne Uth Duna γ. With Title Update 2’s launch, players who craft the final weapon in a tree, Rarity 8 Artian weapons, or High-Rank Palico weapons will unlock that design as a Layered Weapon. In addition, Monster Hunter Wilds is adding new photo mode options and solo players will finally be able to choose which Support Hunters they summon to form an ideal party composition. There will also be more options to choose from, as Erik can fill in for Alma as the Avis unit’s handler, and the Sword & Shield Support Hunter Mina is joining from the Vespae Unit.

A new seasonal celebration is going live on July 23 with The Festival of Accord: Flamefete. It will feature new Grand Hub decorations, meals, limited-time equipment, gestures, and more. The update will also add new paid and free DLC, including four free dance gestures, additional paid DLC, and the release of Cosmetic DLC Pack 2, which was included in the Premium Deluxe Edition and Cosmetic DLC pass. Capcom also confirmed that we’ll learn more about Title Update 3 in September.

As for Resident Evil Requiem, the team shared new details on the game’s protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. She’s an introverted FBI intelligence analyst who is easily scared, which is just fitting for a Resident Evil game. Throughout the course of the story, she’ll have to learn to overcome her fears, and, while timid, she is properly trained to use firearms. The upcoming ninth installment in the storied franchise launches on February 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and takes place 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City. Capcom says Resident Evil Requiem serves as a eulogy to the many characters who were involved in the original outbreak.

Pragmata, which has had an interesting development cycle, resurfaced at this year’s Summer Game Fest. The sci-fi game stars Hugh Williams, who has been sent to the moon as part of a team to investigate why Earth has lost contact with the lunar research station. A lunar quake suddenly strikes the facility, separating Williams from his team. He’s rescued by Pragmata, a unique android who looks like a young girl. Together, they set off on a mission to escape the lunar station and return to Earth.

Hacking and shooting will be at the core of Pragmata’s gameplay. Capcom showed off some of the game’s combat, where a panel appears while aiming at enemies and represents Diana’s ability to hack into foes’ defenses. Players can maneuver the cursor through the panel, allowing Diana to take down enemies’ armor to give openings for Hugh. The duo also work together when it comes to exploration, with Diana using her Hacking abilities to access the facility’s systems to remove barriers. Pragmata is currently scheduled to launch next year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC—assuming it doesn’t disappear again.

Street Fighter 6’s Year 3 roster was also announced during Summer Game Fest, and Sagat kicks things off on August 5 when he joins the roster. Players will be able to travel to Thailand to visit and learn from Sagat as the newest Master in World Tour. Veterans of the franchise will recognize a sizable statue in the background, and Capcom is sharing a Sagat gameplay trailer soon. To celebrate the iconic character’s release, the Sagat Arrives Fighting Pass will be full of Sagat-inspired content starting on July 4.

Because Capcom knows its demographic and likes to make money, it announced the upcoming Outfit 4 update full of swimwear options for the summer. It launches alongside Sagat on August 5 and includes costumes for Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I.

Lastly, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is celebrating its one-year anniversary next month with a retro-styled gift. Players will get the “Yashichi Waves” Mazo Talisman, which remixes select tracks of the game’s music into 8-bit flair as a free update. The game is also now available on the Switch 2 and recently got the “Otherworldly Venture” free content, which invites players into a mysterious new realm beyond the torii gates with an endless mode.
