Our most anticipated game of the year, Monster Hunter Wilds, officially launches on February 28. The team at Capcom is already sharing what players can expect from the game’s first free content update, Title Update 1, in early April. That gives players a little over a month to prepare for all the new content and challenges, including a new monster at a level above Tempered. It’s a mystery what that monster is going to be, but it will be joined by another one, making a total of two new monsters to hunt in Title Update 1.

The bigger announcement is the implementation of the player hub, where hunters can meet, communicate, and share meals together in one area. The new area will only be available to those who have completed the main story.

I’ve been working through Monster Hunter Wilds and plan to publish my review on Monday. However, after about six hours with the game so far, I’m happy to say that I’m looking forward to the next hundred.
