The first season of HBO’s The Last of Us was a success, being nominated for 24 Emmys. Now, the team has the daunting task of adapting The Last of Us Part II, which will star Kaitlyn Dever as Abby Anderson and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. In May, HBO shared two images for The Last of Us Season 2, but now it has made an appearance in a “Coming to Max in 2024-2025” montage video.
Along with previews of many other upcoming HBO Original Series, the short teaser of The Last of Us Season 2 has some familiar sights for those who have played the sequel. Catherine O’Hara and Jeffrey Wright both make an appearance, as does Isabela Merced, who is playing Dina. We also get a quick glimpse at the Seraphites, and if you look closely, you’ll see Dever in the role of Abby. The Last of Us Season 2 is set to debut sometime in the first half of 2025.
