Yesterday was the first State of Play for 2023 and during the event, Sony revealed the PlayStation Plus lineup for March 2023. The free games included with PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium are Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein. All three games will be available starting March 7 until April 3.
Both the PS4 and PS5 versions of Battlefield 2042 will be available to PlayStation Plus members in March. The highly anticipated shooter got off to a rough launch in 2021 and, well, it’s free so if you want to play a first-person shooter give it a download. There will probably be a nice increase in player base once it’s added to PlayStation Plus.
Minecraft Dungeons is also worth playing if you enjoy games like Diablo. It’s obviously a much more simplified action RPG, but it’s surprisingly fun if you have people to play with.
Lastly is Code Vein, which on the surface looks like your typical anime-inspired action RPG. But it is a solid game with souls-like combat and a campaign worth experiencing, especially with a friend in co-op.
Sony also revealed that several titles are heading to the Game Catalog including Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, Tchia, Rainbow Six Extraction, and more.
