We’ve known since February that Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is launching June 25, and Koei Tecmo is now filling in some of the details. The King of Fighters XIV guest characters Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond will be available as DLC at launch, alongside a costume set with five outfits.
Mai and Kula were originally added to Dead or Alive 6 as paid DLC back in 2019, so this is essentially a return for Last Round. The pair will once again be sold separately from the base game, but they’ll be available right at launch this time around rather than several months later.
Team Ninja also revealed the newly enhanced Lost Paradise (Oboro) stage. “Oboro” is a new lighting system built into the studio’s Katana Engine, designed to deliver more realistic illumination through natural ambient light and shadows. Free Oboro versions of other stages are scheduled to roll out as they become available.
Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is scheduled to release on June 25, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, alongside the free-to-play Dead or Alive 6 Last Round Core Fighters edition. Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO will be available in the F2P version from launch, with Photo Mode and the DOA Quest and DOA Central online modes also playable.
