There’s always a surprise shadow drop or two during major gaming events, and Summer Game Fest 2025 was no different. The highly anticipated DLC for Lies of P: Overture is now available following a surprise release announcement. Lies of P: Overture serves as a prequel to Lies of P, taking players to the city of Krat in its final days of 19th-century Belle Époque beauty. Once again taking on the role of Geppetto’s deadly puppet, players will journey through Krat and its surroundings, finding backstories and, of course, encountering plenty of epic battles. He’ll be joined by Lea, the Legendary Stalker, who is on a path of vengeance.

Lies of P veterans can look forward to mastering new combat styles with new weapons at their disposal. Some of the new weapons include the gunblade, claws, and a bow.
