Last December, LEGO Fortnite seemingly came from nowhere and quickly grew to millions of players. Tomorrow, it’s getting a major update that introduces Lost Isles, featuring five different environments: Beach, Plains, Jungle, Mountains, and Floating Islands. Once the update is live, players can head to any Battle Bus Station to be transported to Lost Isles so they can start exploring each of the new environments.

For those looking to relax, the Beach should be your first stop. But beware, there are Pirates and Pirate Towns, so it won’t be entirely peaceful. The Plains is home to the Peely Tribe, where players can help the friendly tribe fight back against the pillaging pirates and other foes. More adventures await in the Jungle, a lush biome full of helpful plants like Hop Flowers, Slurp Plants, Bomb Flowers, and Stink Flowers. You’ll need those tools to fight off the Storm-Wild Tomatoes. Players can also venture high by climbing to the top of the Mountains, where they’ll find pirate fortresses and pineapples. Finally, Lost Isles is also home to the Floating Islands full of rare rewards you won’t find on the ground.

With such a major addition to the game, there’s new gear to craft and use. Collecting Mahogany from trees in Lost Isles will unlock various new recipes, including the Pirate Musket, Flint-Knock Pistol, Boom Shield, Throwing Spears, Explorer’s Machete, and Knockback Shield. The Essence Table has also been upgraded to the Rune Forge, where players can craft Runes to further strengthen their tools. Runes come with various special effects, such as increasing damage or durability, or adding the chance for enemies to drop Health items when hit. Players should also keep an eye out for Tomes in the world, which give one of the Runes or an item recipe.

Lost Isles is also home to the legendary Klombos, which players can befriend by feeding them Klomberries. They’ll need all the help they can get too, since Golems roam the Beach, Plains, and Jungle. If you manage to take down a Golem, you’ll be rewarded with valuable resources and Rift Shards, an ingredient used for Battle Bus Stations. Lost Isles also features new fruits, such as bananas, coconuts, pineapples, Klomberries, and tomatoes. New toys available to players include cannons, which can launch both cannonballs and players, two types of swivels (free-spin and controllable), and a stink jar.

The launch of Lost Isles will also bring the Tropical Treasures LEGO Pass, full of new Quests that will unlock various Decor and Builds. The final reward on the free track is the NaNa Hut Build, while the Premium Reward Track (1,400 V-Bucks) offers 11 additional rewards. Purchasing the Premium Reward Track also unlocks the Island Adventure Peely Outfit immediately. The Tropical Treasures LEGO Pass will be available until October 10, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. Pacific (October 11, 2:00 a.m. Eastern).
