Gaming collaborations with food seem to be the thing to do right now. Yesterday, Xbox announced that DOOM: The Dark Ages is celebrating its launch by collaborating with Prince St. Pizza. Now, Krispy Kreme has announced a collaboration for PAC-MAN’s 45th Anniversary. Participating U.S. Krispy Kreme stores have three new donuts in a custom PAC-MAN game-dozen box, available for a limited time starting today.
The first is the PAC-MAN Party Donut, an Original Glazed piped with yellow buttercream-flavored icing, sprinkled with celebration sprinkles, and topped with a PAC-MAN piece. The second is the Team Ghost Donut, an unglazed shell filled with chocolate-flavored Kreme, dipped in black icing, decorated with a PAC-MAN maze, and topped with a Team Ghost piece. The final donut is an unglazed shell filled with strawberry-flavored Kreme, dipped in red icing, and topped with white sprinkles and green leaf icing.
Along with the trio of special donuts, Krispy Kreme is aiming to give guests 45,000 free Original Glazed donuts from May 12 through May 18 during Hot Light hours—7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM—or whenever the Hot Light is shining. These donuts are limited to one per guest per day, and if fans help achieve this “high score,” they’ll unlock the return of Krispy Kreme’s popular Strawberry Glazed Donut. The last time Krispy Kreme offered it was in August 2023.
The brand’s Donut Dots are also being transformed into Pac-Dots from May 12 through May 14. Guests will get a free 10-count of Donut Dots with the purchase of any dozen donuts at regular price. Finally, on May 22—the official PAC-MAN Day—customers can get a dozen Original Glazed donuts for just $0.25 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.
