Square Enix has finally realzed the more people who can buy its games, the better. After more than three years of being available only on the Epic Games Store for PC, Kingdom Hearts is finally heading to Steam on June 13. The entire collection will be available, including Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC. Buyers can also opt for a bundle that includes all the compilations: Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece.
These titles tell the story of Sora and his companions, Donald Duck and Goofy, in the Dark Seeker Saga. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX features textural updates to its graphics, while Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC and the Integrum Masterpiece bundle add a new platform-exclusive Keyblade called Dead of Night. If you’ve somehow never heard of the Kingdom Hearts series, it began in 2002 as a Square Enix crossover featuring Disney, Final Fantasy, and original characters. Through the years, the series has expanded with more Disney and Pixar characters and fewer Final Fantasy characters. The franchise can admittedly get a bit confusing when it comes to its storytelling, but working your way through the entire set makes the story a lot more understandable.
