At the D23 Expo Japan 2013, Square Enix showed off a whole new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, proving that it’s well into development and looking absolutely stunning. The Kingdom Hearts III trailer shows off a mature Sora along with his faithful sidekicks Donald Duck and Goofy taking on the next-generation of Disney-themed baddies.
According to the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura, Kingdom Hearts III will “wrap up story elements present since the first game,” but the series will live on with more side games.
Kingdom Hearts III is being developed for the Sony PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. No release date has been officially announced yet, but you can pre order the game already.
