Look Outside, the survival horror RPG from developer Francis Coulombe and publisher Devolver Digital, is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as well as Switch and Switch 2 for $9.99. The game originally launched on Steam on March 21, 2025, and it has since earned an Overwhelmingly Positive rating, with 98 percent of over 10,000 user reviews in English recommending it at the time of writing. The console versions were handled by MP2 Games, according to the PlayStation Store listing.

For those unfamiliar with Look Outside, the entire game takes place inside a single apartment building after a mysterious event starts turning anyone who looks out a window into a monster. Players leave their apartment to scavenge the building for food, supplies, and weapons, meeting strange NPCs along the way and fighting former neighbors in turn-based combat. There are over 150 hand-crafted creatures to deal with, and the combat system takes the spacing between you and the enemies into account. Back home, you recover by playing games, making dinner, crafting tools, and getting to know the few allies you can find, some of whom can be recruited to stay in your apartment.

A full playthrough runs about 10 to 12 hours, according to the Steam page, with around a dozen boss encounters and several endings. The game carries a Mature rating from the ESRB for blood, strong language, and violence. If you’d rather play Look Outside on PC, the Steam version is currently 40 percent off at $5.99 through November 2.

Don’t dare to LOOK OUTSIDE on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 and PlayStation 4 & 5
