Gearbox Software has released a new trailer previewing the story of Homeworld Remastered, a remake of two classic real-time strategy games. Homeworld Remastered will include the original Homeworld and Homeworld 2, with updated high-res textures and models, new graphical effects and support for HD, UHD and 4K resolutions. The original audio and video from the games have also been recreated in high fidelity. More importantly, multiplayer for both games has been combined into a single centralized mode. Those that wish to relive Homeworld in its original glory will also have the opportunity to do so in the Homeworld Remastered Collection.
Homeworld Remastered will be released on February 25 for the PC and will retail for $34.99, although you can grab it for 15 percent off ($29.74) on Steam until February 24.
