Final Fantasy XVI is hosting a pre-launch celebration event, during which the demo for the upcoming RPG is very likely to be announced. Originally announced in April, the event takes place on Sunday, June 11 and starts at 4:00pm PDT or 7:00 pm EDT with the Producer’s Keynote from Naoki Yoshida. At 5:15pm PDT or 8:15pm EDT, Maximillian Dood, Hiroshi Takai, and Ryota Suzuki will host the Eikon Power Showcase.

Then, at 6:30pm PDT or 9:30pm EDT, Alanah Pearce, Kazutoyo Maehiro, and Michael-Christopher Koji Fox will discuss the narrative of Final Fantasy XVI. Afterwards, Alex Moukala and Masayoshi Soken will talk about the music of Final Fantasy XVI starting at 7:45pm PDT or 10:45pm EDT.

The event will conclude at 8:45pm PDT or 11:45pm EDT with closing messages from the team. Note the time — it’s very close to midnight EDT, which suggests that this is when the Final Fantasy XVI demo will go live on the PlayStation store.
