Hearthstone’s Ranked Play Season 1 has began today, after four test seasons through closed and open beta. The official Ranked Play Season 1 means players will now be earning rewards by playing in Ranked mode including new card backs like the one seen above. For the first Ranked Play Season, players will be able to earn the Pandaria-themed card back by hitting Rank 20 in Ranked Play mode while those that hit Legend Rank this season will get the Legend card back. The Legend card back is rewarded as soon as a player hits Legend in Ranked Play while the Pandaria-themed card back will be awarded at the end of Ranked Play Season 1.
Those that competed in Test Season 4 will receive bonus stars based on their performance last season. One bonus star is being awarded for each rank you attained as you head into Ranked Play Season 1.
