After Persona 3 Reload’s success in 2024, it was only a matter of time before Persona 4 got a similar treatment. Now, it’s finally official: the game will be titled Persona 4 Revival for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Unfortunately, all we have is a short teaser trailer confirming the title and little else. With no release year shown, it’s likely Persona 4 Revival won’t arrive until 2026 at the earliest—and possibly not until 2027.
P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada released a statement saying the studio is actively preparing for the future development of the Persona series. ans have been eager for news of the next entry, Persona 6, given that Persona 5 originally launched in Japan in 2016 before its worldwide release in 2017. Since then, we’ve seen Persona 5 Royal, spinoffs like Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5 Tactica, and the mobile gacha game Persona5: The Phantom X arriving later this month.
