GungHo Online Entertainment America (GOEA) has announced that remastered versions of Grandia and Grandia II, previously available only on Switch and PC, will finally be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in two weeks. TThe Grandia HD Collection, bundling both games, will also have a physical edition available through Limited Run Games, which is great news for collectors.

Originally designed and created by Game Arts, the company behind the Lunar series, Grandia is a classic RPG that debuted on the Sega Saturn in 1997 and on PlayStation in 1999. The sequel, Grandia II, launched on the Dreamcast in 2000 and on PlayStation 2 in 2002. Both games have been updated with modern visuals, featuring enhanced UI and widescreen support.
