The 2017 PlayStation 4 racing sim game, Gran Turismo Sport, is ending its online services on January 31, 2024. The game will also end the sale of purchasable downloadable content from the PlayStation Store on December 1, 2023. Once the online services are shuttered, players will no longer be able to access the Community, Open Lobby, and the Sport mode, along with online features and items such as custom liveries. The offline sections of the game can still be played, including all previously purchased DLC.

All existing cars and personalized Car Settings kept in the Garage will remain accessible, and you’ll still need to progress in the game as usual to unlock additional cars and items. To reiterate, custom liveries of vehicles, helmets, or racing suits will not be accessible after January 31, 2024, since Discover requires an online connection. Those who still want to continue playing the game will have access to all world circuits, and like the cars, gameplay progression is required as normal to unlock selected tracks.

Trophy hunters will want to get any last minute trophies, since the ones that require an online connection will no longer be accessible once online services are shut down.
