GOG.com has announced a new Worldwide Money Back Guarantee program, but it might not be what you think. The program will allow PC gamers to receive a full refund on a game they’ve purchased if and only if the game doesn’t work on their system. So if you’ve purchased a game from GOG.com that doesn’t work even though your PC meets the minimum requirement specifications, the company will first work with you to try to resolve the issue. If GOG.com isn’t able to get the game working on your PC, they’ll issue out a full refund for your purchase, no questions asked.
Gamers will have a full 30 days after the purchase date to request for a fix or a refund. In addition, GOG’s refund policy will allow gamers to request a full refund within 14 days of a purchase if a gamer purchased a game by mistake or simply changed their mind about the purchase – so long as the game hasn’t been already downloaded.
