PlayStation 5 players will have to wait until January 26, 2027, to play Forza Horizon 6, after Playground Games said in September that the PlayStation 5 version was still coming later this year. It will launch alongside the game’s first expansion, and those who buy the Premium Edition can start playing up to five days early, on January 21. Preorders are open now on PlayStation 5, with a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 included as a preorder bonus. After about 40 hours with the PC version, I said in my review that Forza Horizon 6 may not be the perfect racing game for me, but it’s damn close.
Meanwhile, XBOX Series X|S and PC players can now pull up to a 7-Eleven in Forza Horizon 6’s Japan, as the new Horizon Meets update adds a limited-time konbini inspired by 7-Eleven stores to the Nangan region. The storefront doubles as a themed Car Meet, where players can park their own builds and download the liveries and tuning setups other players have on display. The update also adds a 7-Eleven Konbini Prop Pack for decorating Estates, Garages, and EventLab tracks, along with a Clerk Uniform for player avatars. During the Festival Playlist’s Autumn season, which runs from October 15 to 22, players can smash 20 Egg Salad Sandwich Collectibles near the Car Meet to earn Playlist points and a new Forza LINK reward.
The partnership extends to real-world 7-Eleven stores as well, where players in the U.S. and Canada who buy an XBOX Gift Card with 7Rewards get an exclusive 7-Eleven Toyota Supra GR livery and a free Slurpee through October 27. A 7-Eleven x Forza Horizon 6 merch collection with hoodies, shirts, hats, and accessories featuring Toyota cars from the game is also available starting today on 7Collection.com. Outside of the 7-Eleven content, Horizon Meets adds three new-to-Horizon cars in the 2025 BMW M4 CS, 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327, and 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH, with the full list of changes available on Forza.net.
