Sony and select retailers are now offering the PlayStation 5 Final Fantasy XVI Bundle for preorder, priced at $559.99. The bundle includes the PlayStation 5 disc console, a DualSense wireless controller, base, HDMI cable, AC power cord, USB cable, Astro’s Playroom, and a voucher for a digital copy of Final Fantasy XVI. The game includes the preorder digital bonus as well: Braveheart weapon, Gil-boost accessory Cait Sith Charm, and Exp-boost accessory Scholar’s Spectacles.

The bundle doesn’t release until June 22, 2023 — the release date for Final Fantasy XVI. This might be frustrating, since buyers are getting a voucher to download Final Fantasy XVI, so there isn’t really any reason to wait until the release date to ship the console. Nonetheless, you can save about $10 with this bundle, versus buying the console and game separately.

Personally, I would recommend buying the God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle instead, since it’s more of a savings and you get a great game with it. This way, you get the console right away and you have something to play until Final Fantasy XVI arrives.
