Final Fantasy XVI Producer Naoki Yoshida has confirmed the game will receive two paid story DLCs and development of the PC version is underway. Yoshida hopes to be able to give more information on both the upcoming DLCs and the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI before the end of the year.
Additionally, a free update for Final Fantasy XVI rolls out today that adds alternate costumes to Clive, Jill, Torgal, Ambrosia, and Joshua, as well as the ability to change Clive’s weapon appearance to match any other weapon you own. Clive also gets a brand new weapon, the Onion Sword, added to his arsenal as part of the update.
In my review of Final Fantasy XVI, I found that the RPG offers some of the highest highs you’ll ever experience in a video game, along with some of the lowest lows. The game is full of memorable moments sandwiched between forgettable ones, but it’s a journey I’d recommend to everyone.
