Fans of Relm, rejoice! The Pictomancer job has been announced for Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail. Joining the previously announced Viper job, Pictomancer is a magical ranged DPS class that will use a Brush as its weapon. The Pictomancer will not require a prerequisite class and will start at level 80 in Gridania. The job’s is centered around the Pictomancer working “in the medium of mixed aether, wielding a specialized brush to render their imaginings reality.” Those creations will not only include creatures and weapons, but landscapes as well. Expect the class to also have insta-cast abilities and spells to weave in between its longer casts.

Expect to hear and learn more about the Pictomancer job over the next couple days as Creative Business Unit III shares more about the upcoming Dawntrail expansion.
