Sony also announced that the new PlayStation Vita will launch with some special edition models, one of which is a collaboration with Square Enix and its upcoming Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD remake. Unfortunately, as with the game, no release date was announced for the package.

Recent rumors have Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD being delayed until 2014, though Square Enix is still adamant that it’ll be released for the 2013 holiday season.

While the other announced Vita special edition models will unlikely make it to America, this one might stand a chance given the popularity of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 in North America.
