Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for the PlayStation 3 is promised to be released sometime this year and Square Enix has just released the newest trailer for the upcoming title. This time around, the focus is on the game’s remastered soundtrack which is notably different compared to the original. To showcase the differences between the classic PlayStation 2 version and the upcoming HD remaster, the video starts off with a clip from the original game before comparing it to a nearly identical clip in the new title.

So the newest trailer for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster not only gives you a glimpse of how much better the graphics are, but the changes Square Enix has made to streamline the UI, especially during the game’s special Overdrives.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be based on the International Versions of the games that were previously only released in Japan and Europe and also adds an extra 30-minute audio drama at the end of the game. Square Enix hasn’t announced an official release date for the title yet, though it’s expected soon since it will be out before the end of the year.
