Square Enix has finally announced a release date for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, at least for Japan. The game will hit Japanese retail stores on December 26, 2013. Unfortunately, Square Enix didn’t announced a release date for the rest of the world, including the North American and European markets.
In Japan, gamers will also have the option to get their hands on a special edition Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Vita. At the very least, Square Enix is keeping its promise that Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD will be released this holiday season, and hopefully the same goes for North America and Europe.
