SNK has released a teaser trailer for its next fighting game, titled Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The Fatal Fury series is one of the oldest in the fighting genre, which originally debuted in 1991 on the Neo Geo. The last time we saw an entry in the franchise was in 1999 with Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, which was the eighth game in the series. Now, after more than 20 years, SNK is reviving the franchise with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

In the teaser trailer, fans will recognize Terry Bogard and Rock Howard in the teaser trailer, but the locations seen in the video suggest the game will also feature Andy Bogard, Mai Shiranui, B. Jenet, Billy Kane, Ryo Sakazaki, Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc, and Kain Heinlein.

In recent years, The King of Fighters is the better known franchise from SNK, so it’s not like the company hasn’t been developing fighting games. Neither platforms nor a release date have been announced, but the teaser trailer did say the game is “Furiously in development!”
