In my Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time review, I called the game a jack of all trades, successfully blending gameplay ideas from multiple titles within the genre for my biggest surprise of the year. The game has been a great success, selling over one million units worldwide, and now it will receive free DLC to add a new roguelike open-world mode. Titled Update the World, the free DLC will be available on all platforms and will feature an evolved version of Ginormosia, with a system blending roguelike and open-world elements. If I had to guess, it appears the team at Level-5 may have been inspired by the recent Elden Ring Nightreign.
Along with the new roguelike open-world mode, the DLC will also add new gear and equipment, mounts, and a variety of unusual items. There will also be new hairstyles and emotes for character customization. Players can also look forward to a new character who will play a pivotal role in the story and is set to leave a significant mark on the world. It’s great to see that Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is evolving with additional content, because the game is really fun and packed with variety.
Also, in case you missed it, there’s a code to celebrate one million copies sold: AF579XS2. A special Pegasus Mount has also been distributed in-game, and players can obtain it from a chest located inside the Guild Office and Paladin’s Guild in Eternia Village.
