Everything is Crab, the evolution roguelite that has sold over 650,000 copies on PC since launching on May 8, is heading to just about every other platform, starting with Android and iOS on November 24. The PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2 versions follow on January 26, 2027, alongside new Microsoft Store and Mac versions, and the Switch versions got a trailer during today’s Indie World Showcase. Developer Odd Dreams Digital and publisher Secret Mode say each of these versions includes all of the content from the PC release and will stay in parity with any updates that come to the game.

For those unfamiliar with Everything is Crab, players control Darwin, a little blue blob who eats food to evolve new body parts for fighting, fleeing, or making friends with the other creatures in the ecosystem. There are over 140 evolutions and specializations to combine across runs, along with distinct biomes with their own game-altering conditions, nights that reduce vision, and creatures with their own goals and evolutions to attack or avoid. The game also has 20 difficulty levels, genetics that change how each run plays, a set of Challenges, and Endless runs that test how long you can survive an apocalypse event. It’s the debut game from Odd Dreams Digital, a small international team, and it’s currently $9.99 on Steam, though pricing for the mobile and console versions hasn’t been announced.

The mobile versions have been optimized for the smaller screen with a revised control scheme built for touchscreens, while the console versions arrive about two months later. Those who pick up the original Switch version will get a free upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition, which adds improved performance and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. At the time of writing, Everything is Crab holds a Very Positive rating on Steam with over 3,500 user reviews, 87 percent of which are positive.
