The next Dynasty Warriors game, Dynasty Warriors: Origins, is launching on January 17. If you’re unsure whether the latest entry in this storied franchise is the right game for you, a demo launches on November 22. It will feature the Battle of Sishui Gate, which has been updated and enhanced since it was shown at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this year. The biggest change is the removal of a time limit, allowing players to enjoy the demo as much as they want. The demo showcases four weapons: Sword, Guandao, Pudao, and Wheels. Players can customize arts, gems, and accessories, and choose the difficulty level during the demo.

Developer Omega Force of Koei Tecmo Games announced that Dynasty Warriors: Origins and the demo will be enhanced for PlayStation 5 Pro, offering improved frame rates and visuals for those with Sony’s mid-generation upgrade. Coinciding with the demo’s release will be the launch of preorders. Players who preorder the game will receive a bonus collaboration costume, the Nameless Warrior Garb, from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

The team has shared a video showcasing Dynasty Warriors: Origins’ gameplay features, available to watch below.
