The latest game in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, sold three million copies worldwide within 24 hours of its launch. Released on October 11 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game quickly rose to the top of Steam’s sales charts on PC and hit an all-time peak of 122,554 concurrent players. That’s a significant jump compared to the previous game in the franchise, Dragon Ball FighterZ, which reached 44,303 all-time peak concurrent players.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero features over 180 fighters from the Dragon Ball franchise with high-speed 3D battles that truly capture what the anime series is all about.

The recent years have been excellent for fighting game fans, with the success of Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and even Mortal Kombat 1.
