Centuries from now, archaeologists are going to unearth buried technology wondering why it plays Doom. What has seemingly been a long-running joke for decades may last for centuries, as modders continue to find ways to get Doom running on everything and anything. The latest isn’t even the craziest in the ongoing saga, but it’s just another chapter in the global mission to ensure Doom will be preserved throughout history.

According to a recent video posted on Faz’s YouTube channel, Xan1242 and KingJack have successfully modded Doom into Persona 5 Royal and the mod will be going public sometime soon. It’s hardly as crazy (or funny) as Doom running on a pregnancy tester. If you’re curious about what other random objects have run Doom throughout history, there’s a subreddit dedicated to that.
