The enhanced remake of the 2010 classic Disney Epic Mickey finally has a release date. Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed is launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 24, 2024. The faithful remake is developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games, with assistance from Warren Spector, the director of the original Disney Epic Mickey. The classic action-adventure game has players controlling the iconic Mickey Mouse, armed with a magical paintbrush, as he goes on an epic journey through the World of Wasteland. The game’s levels are inspired by classic Disney stories, bringing them to life in a vibrant 3D platformer.

THQ Nordic also revealed a Collector’s Edition, priced at $199.99. The exclusive edition features a stunning Mickey Mouse statue (about 11 inches), an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit keychain, a vintage Mickey Mouse tin sign, six Disney Epic Mickey postcards, a collector’s steelbook, and an in-game costume pack. Those who preorder the digital game will receive a costume pack with three skins and 24-hour Early Access (only available on consoles).
