Diablo III Season 4 will start on August 28, 2015 at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET Blizzard has announced. That also means that Season 3 will end in North America on Sunday, August 23 at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET. Although it wasn’t confirmed, you can bet that Patch 2.3 will arrive on Tuesday, August 25 in time for Season 4 to kick off.
Diablo III Patch 2.3 will bring numerous new additions to the game, including Torment VII – X difficulties, The Ruins of Sescheron zone, Season Journeys and arguably the most exciting, Kanai’s Cube. Kanai’s Cube will allow players to fully customize their items and characters through several features: extract legendary power, reforge a legendary item, upgrade rare item, convert set item, remove level requirement, convert gems and convert crafting materials. In addition, Patch 2.3 will see the removal of Greater Rift trials, another much-needed and welcoming change.
There’s also plenty of new sets, legendary items and skill changes across all the classes.

All players that reach level 70 on a hero during Season 3 will get exclusive Chest and Glove transmogrification appearances. As with other previous seasons, all seasonal characters will convert to non-seasonal characters in preparation for Diablo III Season 4. Any items, gold, Paragon experience, Achievements, Artisan levels or recipes, Stash space and Blood Shards will also transfer to your non-seasonal hero when Season 3 is over.
